Majella O'Donnell is better known as the other half of Irish Country star Daniel O’Donnell. She has a genuine talent with a wonderfully subtle, but provoking voice and appeared in musicals in her early years, before meeting and marrying Daniel. Majella has for some time now harbored dreams of rekindling her singing career and recording her very own album - her dreams are about to be fulfilled
While Daniel has obviously played a supportive role, the project has been entirely of Majella’s own making. She is no stranger to the big stage, having not only appeared in several productions back in her native Ireland when she was younger, but also due to the fact that she does now frequently join Daniel on stage for duets, both at his concerts and at various charity functions that the pair are involved with.
The album features such classic country songs as ‘Walkin’ After Midnight’, 'Sweet Dreams', two delightful Daniel duets, showcasing the wonderful understanding between them, and the track ‘When I Found You’, which was co-written by Majella for her to sing to Daniel at their wedding.
‘At Last’ will no doubt find it's initial appeal amongst the committed army of Daniel fans, many of whom will have already seen Majella on stage.
