Gary Gamble, now one of Ireland’s up and coming young singers is a very popular figure on the dance and concert circuit. His tribute to Daniel O’Donnell is much requested around the country as is his own show. Gary’s music is also played widely in Australia and the USA. His first single “Mona Lisa “ was released early last year, followed by his first album “The Perfect Man “.
Gary has now released his second single, it is a cover originally by Tony Christie and is called “THE NIGHT OF THE MARDI GRAS” this is the ideal song for Gary’s bright and bubbly personality and is sure to become a favourite with his many fans.
Gary Gamble was born in County Donegal, and now lives in the town of Sion Mills in Co. Tyrone. He first found success when he entered a competition for impersonators, he won the first prize of £1,000 beating acts such as Abba and Elvis.
Gary then received invitations to perform as Daniel flooding in from as far afield as USA and Germany. Recently Daniel called in to a radio station to congratulate Gary when he was being interviewed.
Gary achieved one of his ambitions, he actually appeared and sang on stage with Daniel O’Donnell in Daniels hometown of Kincasslagh, he was very well received by the audience who were 100% Daniel O’Donnell fans. Dates are coming in for 2006 for Gary to appear in England and Scotland as well as at home in Ireland; GARY GAMBLE is a name we will be hearing a lot more of in the future.
